In these extremely busy days, there might be instances when we can hardly find the time to exercise. In between getting the kids to school and driving off to work every day, we can sometimes find it hard to go off to the gym to engage in our regular fitness routines. If you are one of these people, there should be no cause for you to worry as there are ways that you can still engage in a few simple exercises even within the confines of your car. Here are some examples of these routines.
Even when you are stuck in traffic, you can work on your abdominal muscles by holding it in for 30 to 60 seconds at a time. Another exercise that you can do while sitting down in your car is backside clenches. You can perform this exercise by squeezing the muscles in your rear and holding them for a period of five seconds each. It is recommended that you repeat this exercise for about ten to twelve times in order to reduce the stiffness and pain symptoms in your backside. In addition to this, you can also work on your biceps by placing one hand behind the headrest and pulling your arm closer to your head. You should be able to feel the stretch on your muscles for the exercise to be effective. Finally, you can work on both your arm, leg, and thigh muscles by doing this exercise: hold the passenger handles that are located above the windows and repeatedly lift yourself from your seat. Execute these simple exercises in the car, and you are sure to be able to get fit even with your busy schedule.
